Called to the Bar in 1982, Huw Shepheard undertakes litigation, advisory work and drafting over a range of practice areas including; property, land, and planning law.
He is a team player who enjoys working with lay and professional clients to identify and resolve problems in a way that is best suited to the client's needs, and is able to conduct proceedings in Welsh.
Huw is an experienced advocate at all levels of court and tribunal. He is a leading Barrister, has presided over a public inquiry in Jersey and has worked overseas, including serving as the Attorney General of a British Overseas Territory.

Huw appears at public inquiries, hearings and examinations and in the High Court acting for applicants, appellants, local authorities, statutory undertakers and third parties. Huw also deals with planning enforcement proceedings in the criminal courts.
Huw has specialised in contentious and non-contentious Chancery matters for over 30 years, alongside his other main specialism of public law. Chancery matters include the law of trusts, wills, probate, land, companies, bankruptcy, partnerships and a host of other related matters.
