Charlotte originally trained as a barrister with the Government Legal Department where she qualified in immigration litigation, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (now the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero), the Department for Transport and most recently in the specialist Employment Group.
She now practices as an independent barrister working in various employment law matters, and is qualified to accept direct access instructions from lay individual clients and the business community.
Charlotte is experienced in employment claims involving public sector Respondents, managing litigation and providing ad-hoc and ongoing advice on employment law matters.
She represents both claimants and respondents in Employment Tribunal proceedings, and offers a range of services from providing initial advice on the merits of claims and drafting pleadings, through to representation at final hearings.
