Charlotte originally trained as a barrister with the Government Legal Department where she qualified in immigration litigation, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (now the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero), the Department for Transport and most recently in the specialist Employment Group.

She now practices as an independent barrister, and is qualified to accept direct access instructions from lay individual clients and the business community.
