Before joining the Bar, Haresh qualified as a Solicitor and subsequently as a Solicitor Advocate at one of Nottingham’s best regional Law firms, Smalley’s Solicitors. This taught him the importance of tailor-made client care, and being both personable and approachable. He has a unique skillset whereby he can offer public access services as a direct access barrister who can conduct litigation.

Haresh's services are offered to clients all over the U.K. (particularly Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Birmingham and surrounding areas of the East/West Midlands, where he is based). He further advises expats in Andalucía (Spain, particularly Sevilla where he also has a base), who have ongoing legal matters in the U.K. Having trained as teacher, he is well versed and sensitive towards clients who have various learning needs, disabilities and vulnerabilities. Haresh offers meetings by Zoom/MS Teams, phone or other platforms.

Haresh is also a documentary filmmaker with a background in journalism. He has advised independent filmmakers on many legal issues such as, consent, copyright and more, and held webinars on the same topics.

Having worked in media since 1994, he has also advised musicians and actors from various industries, including the adult industry, on legal matters such as contractual disputes with agents or the sale of their services.
