Qualified in 1988
Oriel was called to the Bar in 1988 and has over 35 years' experience in practice. He undertakes a broad range of civil and commercial work and regularly appears in courts throughout England and Wales, including matters proceeding at Fast Track and Multi-Track level, as well as in the High Court.
Oriel's practice encompasses a wide range of commercial, property and civil dispute matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, property litigation, housing disrepair claims, possession proceedings, debt recovery, contractual disputes, insolvency matters, chancery work, probate disputes and TOLATA claims. He also undertakes personal injury and general dispute resolution matters.
Oriel is experienced in representing both professional and lay clients and regularly advises and appears in matters ranging from straightforward disputes through to more complex litigation.
As a Public Access accredited barrister, Oriel is able to accept instructions directly from members of the public, as well as from professional clients. With a practice spanning more than three decades, Oriel brings extensive advocacy experience across a broad range of commercial, property, family and dispute resolution matters.
