Background

Simone has vast experience in matrimonial finance cases as well as property trusts disputes. Simone's practice in financial settlement sees her routinely instructed on complex and high value cases, including those featuring property and business assets held overseas.

Simone accepts instructions from Applicants, Respondents and Intervenors, particularly those with a beneficial interest in property assets in proceedings. She is an excellent choice for cases where the disclosure process has not been straightforward, or has been deliberately frustrated and obfuscated by a party in the proceedings. Simone's practice has an international element to it which sees her instructed on cases featuring assets held overseas in the Caribbean and a number of other jurisdictions.

Simone has vast experience with disputes relating to complex child arrangements, domestic and sexual abuse allegations as well as parental alienation. She also accepts instructions for occupation and non-molestation orders. She also accepts instructions relating to child maintenance, welfare benefit and council tax disputes.

Simone is regularly asked to provide in-house training to junior solicitors and paralegals on best practices for preparing cases from instructions to final hearings as well the law and procedure for dealing with cross-jurisdiction Caribbean-related matters.
